Scarlett Mavor

Scarlett Mavor earned her veterinary degree from Murdoch University in Western Australia and has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past three years. She enjoys the variety that general practice offers, from consultations and dentistry to surgery, and has a special interest in developing her surgical skills, particularly in orthopedics. She also has a strong passion for geriatric and palliative care, helping pets stay comfortable and supported through every stage of life.

Dr. Mavor believes deeply in giving a voice to animals who cannot speak for themselves and ensuring every patient is treated with respect, compassion, and love. She values the special bond between people and their pets and finds great joy in helping both animals and their families live happier, healthier lives. She enjoys partnering with pet owners to create treatment plans that combine modern veterinary medicine with practical, holistic approaches that fit each family’s lifestyle.

One of Dr. Mavor’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is following a patient’s recovery journey and seeing them return home feeling better, with tails wagging and back to their happy selves. She loves building long-term relationships with clients and watching pets grow through all stages of their lives.

Known for her flexible, easygoing nature and calm approach under pressure, Dr. Mavor enjoys working closely with her team and contributing to a supportive hospital culture where everyone grows together. She especially values the close relationships that come with a community-focused hospital setting, where she can support patients and clients through all aspects of their care.

Outside of work, Dr. Mavor loves being outdoors, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, and enjoying the sunshine. She has two beloved family toy poodles in Australia, Neo and Cleo, whom she misses dearly. During veterinary school, she even adopted a chicken who learned to perform tricks such as jumping through hoops and sitting on her shoulder.

Hawaii has been a dream destination for Dr. Mavor since graduating from veterinary school, and she is excited to become part of the local community, meet all of her new clients and their pets, and welcome you to join our Animal Care and Wellness 'Ohana.
